Targeting the Root Cause of Infraorbital Dark Circles and Under-Eye Puffiness with a Multi-Corrective Topical Eye Cream. Treatment of infraorbital dark circles and under-eye puffiness is challenging due to its multifactorial nature and lack of broadly applicable, effective treatments. The underlying cause of periorbital dark circles varies among different ethnicities and Fitzpatrick skin types. Under-eye dark circles due to vascular concerns is more commonly seen in FST I – III and Caucasians, while under-eye dark circles due to melanin pigmentation is more commonly seen FST IV – VI and Blacks. This presentation will detail the scientific study evaluating a daily skincare treatment option that is multimodal, effective, and tolerable across a broad patient population for the improvement in under-eye dark circles and puffiness, by targeting multiple pathways including melanin and hemoglobin related pigmentation.
