Job Description:

BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsible for senior account management and all sales activities of assigned personal care accounts in the Southwest Territory (TX, NM). Remote /home office-based position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Present and sell Company and Principal ingredients to established territory.
2. Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
3. Develop strategies to manage the customer account, setting goals, action plans and objectives to be accomplished.
4. Interact and communicate with clients on a regular basis to determine changing needs and preferences.
5. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
6. Develop technical product knowledge of portfolio.
7. Understand Principal products offered and their value/benefits to customers
8. Determine effective negotiation and sales strategies.
9. Identify and resolve client concerns.
10. Prepare a variety of call reports, project pipelines, follow-ups, and adherence to goals.
11. Participate in industry related marketing events
12. Other duties assigned by manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related technical field and at a minimum of 5 years of personal care ingredient experience in a laboratory setting or sales.
Must possess the abilities to persuade and influence others, develop and deliver presentations, as well as compose and edit written materials.
Must be willing and able to regularly travel regionally up to 50% to include overnight travel.
Must possess current US employment authorization; sponsorship not available for this position.
